Please put your mobile device in airplane mode and then turn on your WiFi only. Keep the cellular data turned off. Then please try following all the setup steps again. Once you are connected and working properly you can shut airplane mode off.
To work with Alexa, Make sure you registered a MagicLight cloud account for new "MagicLight WF V2" app and had connected MagicLight WiFi bulbs to your router. (Click "device setting" to confirm the "remote control" is enabled)

Your MagicLight WiFi lights now connect to your Amazon Echo family of devices through the Alexa connected home. After a few easy setup steps, you can control your lights with Alexa. All you have to do is say “Alexa, turn on the kitchen lights”, and Alexa and MagicLight will make it happen.
Once you know the name or group of your lights, you can say the following:

How to get connected ?
Make sure you have signed into your MagicLight cloud account and have enabled your MagicLight lights for remote control. Then follow these steps:
1. Enable “MagicLight WiFi” skill and link your MagicLight Wifi account. Make sure you have enabled Remote Access on your MagicLight Wifi bulbs in the MagicLight Wifi app.
2. Next, discover you MagicLight Wifi bulbs by saying "Alexa, Discover Devices" or by clicking the Discover Devices button in the Smart Home section of the Alexa app.
3. Your MagicLight Wifi bulbs should appear in your list of discovered devices using the name given in the MagicLight Wifi app.
4. You can control your devices, including turning on and off, and setting a brightness level, by saying things like:
Yes, you can connect directly to your Smart Bulb's Wi-Fi network showing up as LEDnetxxx, and Run "MagicLight WF V2" app to control it. You can also setup a password for your bulb for this directly use.
After you have setup the bulb to a router, the Smart Bulb's Wi-Fi network showing up as LEDnetxxx will be hidden, this is common. If you meet some problem or need to setup your bulb to a new router, you just need to do a factory reset, then the bulb's SSID LEDnetxxx will appear again.
Yes, after the setup process with your home wifi, the "remote control" function should be enabled automatically, then you can control it anywhere with your 2G, 3G, 4G or WiFi network. You can double check whether your "remote control" function is enabled or not by "device setting" option.
MagicLight WiFi bulb is your perfect lighting needs for less than 15 units The bulbs work with your home wifi router, but most routers have a limit of 15 ports available for phones, tablets, and bulbs etc. If your router is at maximum capacity, you are not able to connect more bulbs with it. If you have a special router which has more ports, then you can control more bulbs together.
On Timer: Click on the alarm clock icon in the top right corner of the application, click "Add Timer…" select the Time, repeat (days), and turn the toggle switch to on, you will see "Mode (Optional)" appear below "ON/OFF". Click on Mode Optional and this is where you can select dynamic modes and colors/warm/ white light for the timer.
Off Timer: If you do not switch the toggle on, then it will be saved as an OFF timer.
Sunrise Timer: Starting brightness (brightness 1-100) Ending brightness (brightness 1-100), the process can last from 1-100 minutes, the sunrise is to have the bulb gradually brighten.
Sunset Timer: Starting brightness (brightness 1-100) Ending brightness (brightness 1-100), the process can last from 1-100 minutes, the Sunset is to have the bulb gradually dimming.
Yes. The MagicLight WiFi smart bulbs use wifi technology. So you can have multiple devices in your home connect to and control the bulb at the same time. All the devices need to be connected to the same wifi network that the bulb is connected to. If you have enabled remote connection, you can even connect and control the bulb remotely from multiple devices. Each device needs to enable remote connection for this to work.
1: Please ensure your wifi bulbs and phones are connected to the same router.
2: Please make sure your phone is connected to 2.4Ghz router signal. if your router shows as 5Ghz signal in the wifi list, please forget it and connect to the 2.4Ghz.
3: Do not place this bulb in a socket that is far from the router or in a place that has a poor wifi signal. The connection is going to drop. Similarly, if they are placing the bulb in a metal or enclosed fixture, it's going to interfere with the wifi signal.
Please check the device setting in "MagicLight WF V2" app, and see if the bulb is both on "Local" and "Remote" mode. The Music, MIC and Camera mode are only available in "Local" mode. They do not show in the app when it is in "Remote" mode. The bulb will always switch from "Local" and " Remote" mode, like when you wake always, it will switch to "remote" mode to let you control outside home. When you are close to it, it will switch to "local" mode, so that you can use full functions. (Note, sometimes when you are close to the wifi bulb, it is still under remote mode, that is because the wifi signal is weak at that time or some other reason).

Yes, there is one new permission request regarding Location Services. It is only for Android 6.0 + and it is a new requirement from Google for all apps. If you do not use Android 6.0 + then there is no need to turn it on. The other permission requests remain the same as they are specific to functionality:
- Bluetooth - allows access to the MagicLight
- Camera - use your mobile devices camera option to capture specific colors
- Microphone - allows the light bulb to move with the tone of your voice, music, etc...
- Photos/Media/Files - allows you to save the colors from a specific scene in your Photos/Media/Files
- Location Services - a new requirement from Google on ALL apps for Android 6.0+
If within one year from the date of purchase, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, MagicLight will repair or replace the product, or necessary components, free of charge. THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES:
(a) damage caused by accident, abuse, mishandling, or transport;
(b) units subjected to unauthorized repair;
(c) units not used in accordance with MagicLight care instructions;
(d) damage exceeding the cost of the product;
(e) deterioration of the delivered product resulting from abnormal storage and/or safeguarding conditions on the client's premises, and
